Goodreads Synopsis:
In this sophomore tale of our otherworldly duo, Dreary and Naughty get off to an unlucky start on Valentine's Day weekend. All the boys of Whispering Hills High have a crush on Naughty, which drives a wedge between them (while Dreary is, well, dead to all the girls). Can their feelings for each other survive under the trials and tribulations of the dreaded Valentine's Day exchange? Taking us all back to the days when not everyone was remembered on the cardstock holiday, Friday the 13th of February is the perfect message about what's truly important in love and friendship.
 Review:

I had not read any of the Dreary and Naughty series but the ebook on netgalley grabbed my attention with it adorable, ghastly characters and the idea of Friday the 13th being a theme with the cover. Written as a poem and embedded with pictures this book as so fun. The characters are a demon and a skeleton who are friends and trying to celebrate Valentine's Day. The idea is fun and the poem is very cute even with the macabre characters and their moodiness.

It was a pleasure to read, sadly it was very short. My only real issue with it was that I wanted to learn more about their story and was a little confused by the ending. Maybe I need to read the rest to understand.

I would love to add this to my collection for its unique portrayal of otherworldly characters and their friendship and love.
